Mission statement
Zavod Roka, is a non-government organization, that strives towards transfer and acquisition of knowledge in order to facilitate unceasing development, within a dynamic and complex environment.
The fundamental direction of the NGO is to encourage the cooperation between various actors in projects, while focusing on the inclusion of different target groups, especially young people, in conjunction with following focus points:
– inclusion and diversity,
– digital transformation,
– concurrence in democratic life, shared values and civic engagement,
– environment and actions against climate change
Functioning of the NGO Zavod Roka is based on partnership relations and mutual trust between colleagues and project partners, which enables better communication, more efficient acquisition of knowledge, more informed decision making, which results in increased efficiency.
The following activities are especially important to facilitate the implementation of organization’s mission that is based on trust and commitment:
– promotion of sustainable development,
– implementation of green economy principles,
– promotion of social economy and social entrepreneurship,
– awareness-raising activities, educational activities in the field of climate change and biodiversity conservation,
– community awareness and promotional activates
Communication activities, implementation of communication strategies and action plans represent the cornerstone of the non-governmental organization Zavod Roka.
Coopepation, cooperation, cooperation
Establishing and ensuring the development and implementation of various projects, which are primarily based on cooperation as well as innovative or creative work, focusing on fields such as education, training, youth and sports. These activates help individuals in their personal and professional development. Inclusive quality education and trainings well as non-formal and informal education activities equip young people and participants of all ages with much needed qualifications and skills that are necessary for their active participation in a democratic society, as well as for understanding intercultural environment and successful transition to the labour market.
The organization is achieving its set goals by cooperating with various non-profit organizations, educational institutions, research institutions, business support institutions, artisans, companies, students, scientists, etc., thus contributing to a sustainable development of the environment in which Zavod Roka operates.
The foundation of the organisation’s operation is cooperation, which Zavod Roka is realizes by appropriation (searching, evaluating and motivating) of personnel potential from various individuals and organizations in the local, regional and European environment. Through well-thought-out activities the NGO supports the transfer and exchange of knowledge, experience and good practices.
An important goal of the institution (within regional framework and more broadly) is to provide citizens with the knowledge, skills and competences needed to prosper in a dynamically changing society that is increasingly mobile, multicultural and digital. The ever-changing society inherently requires the institution to contribute to a more inclusive and cohesive society, with an emphasis on green and digital competences.
Through lifelong learning programs, the non-governmental institution Zavod Roka supports the educational, professional and personal development of individuals and thereby contributes to sustainable growth, quality jobs and social cohesion, the promotion of innovation and the strengthening of European identity and active citizenship.

Cooperation in the Erasmus + Programmes
Zavod Roka fully follows the goals of the Erasmus+ program, whereby:
1. implements learning mobility opportunities aimed at individuals and groups addressing the field of non-formal education and training;
2. implements non-formal, occasional learning mobility and active cooperation among young people with an emphasis on cooperation, quality, inclusion, creativity and innovation;
3. implements learning mobility of sports personnel based on cooperation, quality, inclusion, creativity and innovation.
Publishing
Since 2010, the non-governmental institution Zavod Roka has been publishing the online portal www.pomurec.com, thus significantly co-shaping the media landscape on the regional as well as national level.
